RECRUITER SOUND OFF: Why is collaboration and social networking so important in response to the current business climate for recruiting professionals in our industry?

BONUS QUESTIONS:
  1. What SHOULD recruiting professionals be doing to revolutionize our best practice for uncommon business value?
  2. WHO IS BEST IN CLASS FOR COLLABORATIVE RECRUITING PROFESSIONALS?:

RECRUITER EARTH RECRUITING RADIO HIGHLIGHTS:
Here we will feature blogs of recent recruiter members, introducing you to them and the great industry ideas they are inspiring.
  • Jon Bartos embodies positive Recruiting Business. In his radio show he talks about solutions for recruiting 2010.. Time to Fill, Managed Client and Candidate Experience and more. His recent article on the Impending Talent Crisis underscores the importance of recruiting professionals and our industry to look to strategies that allow us to create opportunities that continue to deliver, and creates breakaway business strategy!
  • Kristen Fife is proof Seattle is home to more than GREAT coffee. Kristen emphasizes the importance of our connected consciousness, that social networking is producing a forum and a community where everyone helps each other and ultimately the community at large. Her recent ERE blog on Asking for What We Want illustrates exactly with the advancement of technology the opportunities for Recruiting to do and be better, with greater Public Relations and results!
  • Therese Baker new show for Social Splits is Organic Recruiting. Exciting to see other recruiters embracing the possibilities that we can create a whole lot more good news and business when we maintain focus as a visual reminder to a path well chosen.. It becomes very clear why her company ABBTECH is a TOP 2008 Diversity Business.
THEN there is Social Splits.. Significant because it leverages the talents, and in a social media mashable delight, creates a new business strategy altogether... Based on the logic that QUALITY PEOPLE * GREAT INTELLIGENCE * and SOCIAL MEDIA is NEW OPPORTUNITY .. this IS THE EXPERIENCE and its gonna rock!

Social Splits is way more than a network, it IS an EXPERIENCE, in my opinion one of the most significant movements in the recruiting profession. I want to HIGHLIGHT the thinkers in the recruiting industry, showcasing their thoughts and approaches on my radio show Split Success.

Creative Collaboration: A Recruiters Secret Weapon is Social Splits Networking

Ask Chris LaVoie of Recruiter Earth his opinions on if anyone looking too narrowly if LinkedIn is yesterdays news...

NCASP Radio

There is enormous opportunity for the person willing to believe in their business vision, and persevere while problems give way to solutions...

Recruiters can make such a difference by "Mastering the Art of Creative Collaboration". This is a BusinessWeek book written by Robert Hargrove, with transformative ideas for all business. Key as it relates to this industry is the importance of Recruiters being willing to break with the everyday news, frustrations and limitations, to allow a greater solution and capacity to shine through.

What are we talking about here? Collaborative Partnership through a well networked Recruiting Community. Exploring the value and benefits of flexible splits networks... and Encouraging vendors and partners to make it easier for us to create a new breakaway business model that encourages participation and prosperity greater than the sum of one individuals effort alone!

The 5 Phases for Collaborative Conversation listed follow

1. Clarify the purpose of the conversation
2. Share divergent views and perspectives
3. Build Shared Understanding of the differing views and perspectives
4. Create new options by connecting the different views
5. Generate a conversation for action.

Seems really simple doesn't it? It is simple.. but not easy.. Not easy because our success depends upon our willingness to ask for our desired outcome more than embracing our limitations.. Believe that in the power of creative collaboration, a greater solution and opportunity to be of service and produce revenue might exist. and Recieve the trappings of a well connected community, who cares about the individuals and well being of all involved.

Social Networking should Advance Recruiting Splits! SlideShare presentation on LinkedIn. http://tinyurl.com/lc9he6

Looking for partners, thinkers, and Recruiting Professionals to join us in creating a more innovative business model. We have the community, the foundations and incredible potential.. but might be even better if YOU were at the table? Got ideas? Got questions? Contact me!!!
